Starting in mid 2005 each State has
Director for running Ultrastar Competitions for Ultimate players.The format will
vary between temporary and permanent targets. It will give the opportunity for
Ultimate players to experience the fun and excitement of Disc Golf also to
broaden Disc skills by playing Disc Golf. Also to compete for prizes and the
chance to win individual/team trophies.Also to try amazing new discs that fly
twice as far as an Ultrastar.
The Sydney program at Macquarie Uni has
started using a beautiful course designed by Kurt Karlsson and Lee Coady. We are
currently formualting formats for play/competitions so please contact your State
Director if you would like to become involved and help this great
concept.
There are"
ultrastar" events which I hope to get as many ultimate players playing a
basket course (golf discs can be used but there are prizes for the best
ultrastar players and teams).
