Unfortunately, the MM crew did not receive the M-14s on time, and hence we once again had to haul out the heavy baskets to hold yet another installment of Madd Macqs Disc Golf.
Oceania Disc Golf Classic
Despite the oppressive heat (36 on Saturday and 41 on Sunday) we saw nine players for the first round on Saturday and eight players for the second round on Sunday including two players from interstate (NSW). Play kicked off at around 2pm on Saturday with three groups of three setting out on the 18 hole course. For the competition nine additional tee placements were created similar to the GSO with a few modifications to keep things interesting.

Guerilla Disc Golf 001
Victoria finally got to use the M-14 baskets this weekend to hold the first of what will hopefully be many Guerilla Disc Golf events. The course setup went fairly smoothly and we were able to get started a little after 11am once everyone had arrived. There was a reasonable turnout for the first round with 9 people setting off on hole 1 in two groups and two players joining at hole 12 to sample the course.

It was a relaxed MMs this time around, lots of talk on what the future holds. Most of which regarding obtaining new M-14s for the course, which would make setting up and breaking down the course much easier.
